Why You Shouldn’t Smoke Weed: The Real Story

Why You Shouldn’t Smoke Weed: The Real Story

There have been some false information going around about marijuana. There are factors of this that could harm the individual using it. But its not what you think. Here is the real story of why you shouldn’t smoke weed.

A while back, I was studying why you shouldn’t smoke weed, and I found a lot of information that proved to be no more than false. I wrote an article based on that false information, so this article is here to clear that up. It was information issued by others to scare the public into not using this naturally grown plant. First let me say that weed is not a drug. Its a plant, just like Hardy Annuals and Biennials. Don’t get carried away though, there are some reasons why you shouldn’t smoke weed, but there are reasons why people smoke weed.

Weed (marijuana, whichever you prefer) has some negative effects to it, just as any other product that is smoked. But the real reason why smoking weed is bad is not because of the marijuana itself, but rather the smoke. People fail to realize that the smoke is actually the harming factor of smoking weed. Its not like cigarettes (containing countless amounts of poisons and toxins). If you were to eat weed, what negative effects would come of that? Besides the potential overdose factor, what else is there that could harm you? There may be something inside weed that can harm, but I don’t know anything there yet.

Everything can be addictive. Its the reaction that some people have to certain substances. Marijuana is not addictive in nature. Its the feeling of being high that makes some people become addicted to weed. Why smoke weed? I couldn’t tell you why because I don’t smoke it. The point is, weed is the least dangerous substance that people use. Compared to other “legal” products such as alcohol and tobacco, weed is the least thing people need to worry about.

Over the years, there have been no deaths reported as a result from marijuana. What about something legal? Lets talk alcohol. Over the years, millions of people have died as a result from alcohol. Whether it is alcohol poisoning or drunk driving, there have been millions who lost their life.

Why smoke weed? Because out of the other things people smoke, marijuana is the safest. I’m not encouraging this, its just the fact that some people need something to alter their mind state in order to survive. It may sound ridiculous, but its actually true. Would you rather a psychopath drink alcohol or smoke weed? Alcohol has a history of bringing the anger out of people, while marijuana has a more calming effect on the individual. You decide which is better.

Health Benefits of Weed

Believe it or not, weed can actually be healthy for you. If used in special circumstances, it could save your life.

Anorexia- We all know the most common effect of marijuana. It increases your appetite. Wouldn’t this be great for someone who has an eating disorder? Would it help them gain weight and potentially save their life? Its not known yet because there aren’t any records of anorexia patients being prescribed marijuana, but it could be a potential solution. Its also great for patients with the HIV virus.

Cancer- Marijuana is known to control vomiting and nausea associated with cancer chemotherapy.

it seem like to me that you are for weed, you did not tell why the smoke is Bad. If you title Is “why you shouldn’t smoke weed”, then you need reasons why. all it sounded like to me, is why we should.

Potential marijuana overdose? its almost impossible to overdose on marijuana it would take over 120,000 hits from a joint in a ROW to die from an overdose.

Actually it was to expose the truth. The title doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the moral of the story. And yes, I am for the “legalization” of marijuana, which would help our economy in its troubled state that it is in now. I don’t condone the use, but I would like legalization to save our country and all the taxes that are used to arrest criminals who are associated with marijuana.
